Hi Mike this is Grinch my male emerald swift, sorry, you asked to see both, the female is gravid and hiding right now, they are just duller than the male. Grinch is a beautiful emerald green, with a turquiosey colored tail, and orange under his chin. Big patches of pretty blue on his underside. And as I told you they live in a more woodsy humid envirorment, but with a nice COOL end. They like to climb. And do have live birth. I know some don't but your guy seems to look like mine alot, does his green brighten? I was just surprised to seem him in a collared set -up ! But he looks happy ! I like your frilly too ! Eve

I'll tell Jar Jar (my frillie) that you mentioned him. Off the collared topic, look in the photo section. I just posted a pic of him with his frills all the way out. Got a video of it too. Go into the frilled dragon forum to download. Should be easy to find. That forum is not as busy as this one.

As for my Emerald. He will not turn lighter but he will turn darker green when he gets more vitamins, and his tail is always turquoise. He has blue under his chin and on the bottom sides of his belly. I do have him in the wrong setup but he has always been in there and he's already 5 years old and completely healthy. He used to have a mate, Marge, get it?, Simpsons? Anyway, we lost her a while back and poor little Homer was alone for a long time. Then Bubba came along. Now Bubba is his pal. They really stick to each other like glue. Nothing weird there with them both being males, they just like each other's company. Marge was speckled and you might not even know she was an Emerald. I have pictures of them together but I have to look through old files. I'd like to show you them together so I'll look and get back to you. But yea, you're right. He's in the wrong setup, but he's happy!

Mike
