Welcome to the club, & the most amazing "Pet" Ratsnake of all. I rescued mine from PetCo where it sat unwanted for 8 months. It was about the age of yours.
They are phenomanal snakes. ENJOY!

Both are very nice. Gray rats are some of my favorite snakes. I used to catch them occasionaly when I lived in Tallahassee. They are incredibly variable and some are just spectacular.
In your experience do they remain defensive in captivity?
