i have cage carpet, and an undertank heater under paper towels on one side, some fake plants (its a 20 L) and a water dish. I have a clear tupperware container (deli cup) with a hole cut into the side, with wet paper towels in there, he never goes in there though....well pics would be good!!

I have 3 seperate setups as I have one that's not big enough to be in the "main house" & another that's new in quarenteen. All have papertowel as my leos used to catch their toenails & even their lower jaws on the cage carpet. I have dark humid hides- two of those repti-caves that stick on the side of the tank & allow you to look inside by taking the side off, & one that was a stouffer side dish container (black plastic) w/a piece of waxy paper underneath to keep the other papertowels from getting soaked by my wet one. I also have one of those manufactured caves w/ waxy paper underneath. Of everything, they REALLY LOVE those repti caves. They're pricey, but worth it!
Maybe your leo's not going in because the hide's clear instead of dark. Try a dark humid hide.

I have two ten gallons with an undertank heater each with repti carpet. Humid hide made out of a deli cup with moss in it, one water bowl, from plastic, calcium bowl, and mealie bowl. Then in eaither of the ten gallons i have two dry hides and a fake plant in one and a lizard hammock in the other. I have 3 tupperware containers under my uromstyx tanks which just have paper towel, water bowl, food bowl, calcium bowl, dry hide and humid hide. The ten gallons is where i keep my Favorite guys...shhh don't tell them!

i have 2 40G breeders,each tank has 2 geckos with 2 hides,humid hide,water bowl,and mealie bowl each.......3 more 40G breeders on the way all freebies

I have six tanks. 5 10gal and 1 22L tank. In my ten gals they are about the same. I have one leo 1 cave that you can get at petco or anywhere that sale reptiel stuff, then I have a water bowel with a mealie bowl also then on the other side I have like a crayola box for the humid hide (Not the thin long ones but the tall box looking ones). For my 22L gal tank I have 2 leos. I have a cave in there like the others, a PVC elbow pipe decoreated with plants around it in a corner, I have a corner water bowl thats next to the glass in the middle, 2 mealie bowls so there is no fighting over food, then I have a large rubbermaid container with a hole on the side with papetowels on the inside then ontop of that I have another rubbermaid container just a little smaller; a hole cut on the side of that as well (the are hot glued together, but I can still take them apart for the papertowels), I have a thick piece of wood coming out of the top one slanting down to the floor so my leos can crawl on that to get up and down. All tanks have UTH's. The 22 gal has 2. One on the side next and under the humid hides then another on the side under their "Ramp".
