First herp of 2010!

varanid Mar 18, 2010 04:10 PM

The wife and I were digging in our garden plot (planting potatoes) and unearthed a Woodhouses Toad. No pictures because we weren't herping...we were gardening!

Makes me happy, maybe soon things'll start moving more.

Very cool! Toads in the garden are good luck. Where do you guys live? I'd've thought things'd be warming up a little more by now. I'm in the San Fernando Valley area of SoCal, and wouldn't mind it being a bit cooler. Yesterday was 86F.

It's 10 degrees or so and we've had 2" of snow since 11pm central.
FRIG THIS WEATHER! I was supposed to herp this weekend.
