Herp or Bust!!!

KevinM Mar 19, 2010 08:45 AM

AHHHH!!! I GOTTA GO HERPIN' SOON!!! The corns in the collection are locking up, weather got warm, plants are starting to bud. Saw my first house gecko out a couple of nights ago. Man, I got the itch soooo bad right now its not funny!!! Hopefully me and a buddy will do some flipping in an area around New Orleans where they find LA Milks. I have never seen one in the wild, but am hoping to find my first soon!!! So, I plan on being a good boy, getting my weekend chores done early (or blowing them off entirely hee, hee), and getting out this weekend!!!

Good luck Bro! I have been getting the urge here too! But there is really only one place I want to go. I want to find a male Blue Garter to go with the Female I already have. I'm not really interested in anything else from around here that I don't already have, though it's fun just catching anything, ha ha.

Found a toad while prepping my garden...but now it's supposed to snow again.

WTF Texas, you're not supposed to snow this much

This king snake is actually in my vicinity. Maybe I will see one this year, instead of all the dargone rattlesnakes I usually see. Note the king in the photo eating a rattlesnake. I am not totally against rattlesnakes but am frequently having to relocate them from my property.

they are very easy to find if you know what to look for.
