Northern Pines - NJ

JMo Mar 19, 2010 02:35 PM

I'd really like to get a northern pine; however, here in NJ they are a threatened species. Does anyone know whether or not it is legal to keep CB nothern pines here in NJ?

Thanks,
Jim

If you can prove you bought a cb pine from another state you should be o.k. Check with your states dept. of wildlife enforcement division to make sure. There are many states that don't want you to keep native species. Rich

I live in nj also and spoke with nj fish game and wildlife, nope can't keep a northern pine or a normal colored corn snake, even if it was CB, nj stinks.
