We took some pictures outside the past couple of days. And, yes, that is purple nail polish (for dogs) she's wearing, compliments of my 16 year old daughter.

Oh, I discovered the way to get her colors to actually show up is to take the pics outside int he sunlight, forcing a flash. All that light makes a difference.

She is very nice looking! How old is she?
She must be pretty tame, does she do well when you take her outside,or does she flip out?

She is seven and a half and yes, she isvery very tame. She doesn't flip out when we go outside and she knows that her leash means we're going outside. She'll sit still for her leash, a t-shirt (which is an amazing tool for dealing with people who are afraid of lizards or reptiles in general), or even for my daughter to polish her nails. The only time she ever shows temper is during the summer when she's been out in her big outdoor enclosure, if we have to take her inside before dusk. Then she'll show me the inside of her mouth and give me a half hearted tail whip to let me know that she is not at all pleased about coming inside.

Now, if only she'll stop laying eggs for a few years so she can put that energy into growing!

Aww! I love her red eyeballs! I was 16 when I got my first lizard and used to paint their nails also Now I'm in college and am studing Biology to work with them! Maybe one day I will paint all thier nails in the wild after I set up breeding facilities! lol
