Milk Snake ID

DjN Mar 20, 2010 09:09 AM

Hello all I'm trying to get an id on these two snakes, they are labeled as pueblans but I'm not so sure. But I'm not the best with tri-colour species. The first two are of the female and the second two are of the male.

The Female

Those are BOTH Hondurans!

Not a shred of Pueblan milk to be found there. Whoever listed those as "Pueblans" had better take the course over again, because they flunked horribly.

"what would you say they are hondos?"

Yes,.....definitely Hondos.......without question!. Those are absolutely text-book phenotypes(visual characteristics).... rest assured!

wow nice pics man are all those yours?

DMong Mar 20, 2010 01:35 PM

Thanks!. Yes, they are all mine. I also have TONS more, and have bred those and many other types of milks as well over the years. Those were just a few normal, non-morph Hondo's to give you a good comparison of yours. Guaranteed this is exactly what both yours are too with 100% certainty.

Here is a very typical Pueblan milk I used to have. VERY different from the Hondo's, but still have some fairly similar characteristics.

Enjoy those Hondo's you have!

regards, ~Doug

With out a doubt, Honduran's. Lovely Tri-Colors.

Not your 2-3ft snake there, Possibly double that
