gravid shedding

i have a big female due very shortly but she just went into shed. Has anyone else ever had this happen? I have had litters the past couple of years but have never had this happen! Any input would be great.

It happens. This is my second year breeding and I have a female doing it right now also. She's about half way into it. It happens more then you think, people just don't really talk about it I guess. I'm sure your girl if fine. Fingers crosed for a nice big healthy litter for ya!

I had a Female that already delivered this year who had a mid-term shed as well.
Was about 70 days in after the POS

Also have another female due next week who has not shed in 7 months. not even a POS
