FOLLOW THE MONEY. Here is a very useful resource-lots of eye-opening statistics on where the money went in Washington and where it's going.

Brad,

Yep, that is of the websites that tracks corporate money...

Follow these websites (US Senate & Federal Election Commission)...

The Senate's lobbying website tracks WHERE their money goes...Note the amounts of lobbying money spent by HSUS...Click on each individual item on the list to see what issues they lobbied and which governmental entities they visited (some are more specific than others)...Pay attention to the year end reports...

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/Public_Disclosure/LDA_reports.htm

Depending on the issue, they're big time spenders & lobbyists...For example, here are just a few;

2000 = $960K
2001 = $1.0 Million
2002 = $700K
2002 = $440K
2003 = $980K
2004 = $950K
2004 = $1.0 Million

The FEC tracks campaign committee contributions/expenditures both for (supported) and against (opposed)...
