I have had conflicting comments on the use of U.V. lights And I was wondering what all of you think/know from experience. I haven't been at this very long. (I am currently using a U.V. just to be safe).

I have tanks with UV light and tanks without. With white/bright lights the geckos will stay hidden, so they reap very little benefits from the light at all. I would say, and I'm sure most on here would agree, they do not need the UV light the way diurnal animals do. They are fine without it.
