i recently purchased 3 female box tutles for my daughter...they arrived on thursday,,,,,,but as of today...they havn't eaten anything.

we have tried strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes, nightcrawlers... . any help from seasoned turtle keepers would be quite helpful.

It could take weeks for them to settle in. The wiggly proteins will eventually entice them to eat.

In the mean time:
How old are they? What are the details of their enclosure?

one is around 3 years old,,,,,,the other 2 are probably 6-7.

the cage is close to 3 foot long by 20 inches wide.

heat/solar lamp in one corner, water dish....bottom is lined with newspaper.

we've kept turtles before,,,never had problems with them eating.........you may be right about them needing time to settle in.

IMHO The space is not large enough for three gals, I would also add a substrate to help with their humidity.
Honestly depending on their story, it could take awhile for them to get situated. If they all came from different locations or were wild caught it could be a rough road in that size enclosure. If they don't eat well for you at three weeks that would be the first thing I'd Change.

Good Luck
