This over 5 ft. girl dropped the biggest clutch ever for us-fourteen perfect eggs! She weighed 2800 grams after I removed the eggs. Pretty good sign for the first clutch of the season....

Wow Congrats!!! What size clutches has she had in the past, and what did she weigh before being gravid?? I have a girl thats 4000g and she has always had a wider frame than my other big girls. I got her as an adult early in 08 and she only had 7, but she was a little thin. I beefed her up and she is huge and ovulated already so my fingers are crossed for a big clutch.Congrats again! Chris

Last year she laid 12 eggs. The last time I weighed her before the breeding season, she was 4600 gms....

Congratulations on producing such a huge clutch. I'm hoping to produce several large clutches this year myself. I would be happy with anything near what you produced. As far as I'm concerned when you produce clutches like that, you're doing everything right.
