sealer question

WildBill Sep 21, 2003 01:30 PM

I know this has been asked many times before, but I can't remember the answers. What kind of sealers do y'all use on your wooden cages? I'm building a large cage for my 12' burm. It's about half done, I'll try to post a pic when its completed. Thanks for any help.

I'm going to use Marine Epoxy paint with my burms cage. The cage is 6' long so its gonna take a bit of paint. Just let it gas out for a while... Also, I've been looking into HDPE sheets cut just a bit smaller than the cage and bonded to the wood. In a sense making a tub inside the full length of the cage, totally leak proof, but it raises the cost of the supplies a bit
