How old is the baby? Just keep offering them and eventually he'll figure out what they are. I keep small babies on paper, so I put finely chopped greens in the beginning right on the paper. They figure it out.

he's about 6" so about 6 weeks. I get all kinds of ideas from different book and magazines but I hear collard, mustard, kale and romaine are the best but no matter what mixture or even seperation of greens he just wants crickets. I even heard to starv him for a day and them offer him greens. I'm kinda looking for some kind of flavor to add to make him wanting to eat them?
all tips help
Thanks
Scott

I wouldn't stress out on your dragon not taking to greens immediately. Feed him crickets 2-3 times a day, all he can eat in about a 10 minute period, removing any uneaten ones. Make sure the crickets are no bigger than the space between his eyes. Ensure the crickets are well gut loaded 24 hours before offering them to the dragon as well. (feed them the same greens you would feed the dragon)

From your past posts I don't think you had this baby too long..sometimes it takes them a few weeks to get used to a new home before they experiment with greens as well. Offer the greens first thing in the morning, finely chopped and drop them from a height into the bowl or onto a shadow plate or papertowel. Add a few phoenix worms ontop to get your dragon to at least come to the bowl. The more finely chopped the greens are and if wet, increases the chances some greens will stick to the phoenix worms and your dragon will get a taste that way. Eventually he will start eating greens but as babies, their primary dietary needs are insects as they are growing and need the insect protein more than greens.
