Which one?

i really like the constrictors, but i tihki they are too big, the limit for me is probably like 5 feet, i also like the brazilian rainbow but i have heard that these are not for beginers and while i am not new to reptiles i am relatively new to snakes. i would just really appreciate if i could be pointed in the right directon of the right boa for me (5 feet or less and not too hard to care for)
P.S. i don't like the sand or rosy boas, appearance matters and i like the wide head, if there is not a boa for me then perhaps a pythong although i have also heard that most are pretty agressive
thanks a lot

JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

You may be hard pressed to find a boa that fits your requirements. I would suggest a ball python. They have the same general head shape as a boa, stay small, and are very tame, if handled regularly. Make sure to get a captive bred & born one, so you don't have to worry so much about feeding problems, parasites, etc. I have ball pythons and boas both, and am happy with both. Temperaments are very similar, except the ball pythons are sometimes more head shy, especially as babies. Ball Pythons are not aggressive snakes, at all!
Good luck!
