FIRST BP CLUTCH. PIED CLUTCH, DAY 63

CaliRepGuy Mar 29, 2010 05:22 PM

OK, a BIG THANK YOU to all who helped me sooooo much and put up with my many questions. My first ever BP clutch was a success!

Five are out with one left to go.

The first pic is of the 3rd one out.

The second pic is after 2 were out and 2 more are popping their heads out.

I'll post pics of the clutch after they are all out.

The first 5 are all perfect but it looks like the 6th one is missing it's left eye completely. No socket, just perfect skin and scales over where the eye should be. Still in the egg though so I am not sure if the other eye is there.

My first clutch was a het pied male to a normal female.
Substrate was too wet, and I killed 6 of the 7 eggs.
1 50% possible het pied female emerged from the 1 egg I had left.
She is doing well, and will be ready to go NEXT oct.
We shall see THEN if I am one of the luckiest guys in the world...lol
