The xrays from my messed up house snake are back. There's a lump/growth in the throat. The vet's not sure what it is, and she's not sure if operating's feasible at any rate, given the fact that, well, she's a 90 gram snake and it's a lump just barely back into her throat. It's like about an inch or two in past the mouth. I don't know if I should try or not. The last time I had to have a growth removed (ball python, years ago) the growth just came back and we wound up euthanizing the snake. I don't know if that'd be my best bet here or not.

Does the vet suspect it could be an infectious mass, or could possibly aspirate/drain it? Sorry for the prognosis, but at least you know what you are dealing with. If its benign, maybe you could tube feed her??

It's solid, not liquid or liquid filled, according to the vet after looking at the xrays.
