Some pics of Siona & questions for DC

kristinL568 Sep 21, 2003 03:53 PM

I've separated Siona & Squig. She was cornered in her cave by an over amorous Squig so I pulled her out. Poor little thing, she seemed content just to sit & enjoy the warmth of my hand since she hasn't been doing much basking. = / She's also got some bite marks on the back of her neck. I think you can see them in the pics. They aren't too bad.
She seems to enjoy her new deluxe suite. Comes complete with an extra-large water bowl for the problem shedder, & not one, but two caves for hiding, sleeping, & escaping the heat.
DC, how active was she when you had her & about how much did she eat? Thanks, Kristin

She's also got some really nice light blue on her legs & tail. Matches Squig's blue almost exactly. they'll make some cute little kiddies if I can get them to mate.

..was getting fairly active right before she left, but she had gone through a "staying in bed" thing off and on for a few days. She had been moved up to the bigger tank and was eating pretty well for about a week before you got her. I think she chased down around 6 3/4" crickets the day before I mailed her. Several others of mine are getting a little moody and hiding out, its that time of year. Ghost holed up (in a little cave I just made) for three days, but popped out today and ate every cricket I dropped in the tank! Watch her temps and the "daylength" her lights are set on, I still have mine up around 13 hours.
