My first OT post ever

tsusnakeguy Mar 30, 2010 08:52 PM

I bought my wife guinea pigs for Christmas. We decided we wanted to bread them and she finally gave birth. She gave birth two 3 little healthy babies. The mom is smooth short hair, black with a little white speckling and the dad is black and brown with kinky teddy bear hair. It was fun to see how the babies would come out. Don't worry I still love cold blooded animals covered in scales but these little guys are awsome.

The first two have the dads hair and color.

This one has the dads color but neithers hair. haha Genetics are fun to watch play out

My daughter had them and I wanted to breed them to feed to my boas, but there was no way she would let me feed them off!

Super cute!!! Me and my wife just got a Gunea Pig for our 2 year old son we figured we needed at least one animal with fur in the house. A Gunea Pig was my first pet and it was what started me down the animal path to becoming a zoo keeper and to this day they are the only animal I can't use as food for my herps!
