My first OT post ever

I bought my wife guinea pigs for Christmas. We decided we wanted to bread them and she finally gave birth. She gave birth two 3 little healthy babies. The mom is smooth short hair, black with a little white speckling and the dad is black and brown with kinky teddy bear hair. It was fun to see how the babies would come out. Don't worry I still love cold blooded animals covered in scales but these little guys are awsome.

The first two have the dads hair and color.

This one has the dads color but neithers hair. haha Genetics are fun to watch play out

I used to breed Guinea Pigs. I sold them to all the pet stores around where I live, and on the internet, like Craigslist. I had around 80 breeders when I finally sold out. They are a lot of fun. We actually miss them to some degree. I had to scale back on the animals so they had to go. My boas would also eat them, when I would produce more then I could sell, I had no choice but to feed them to my snakes. I really hated to feed off the Guinea Pigs, but I always kept in focus, after all my snakes were the investment. We kicked out all kinds of wierd stuff. I had all kinds. Word to the wise. Be careful, they can be addictive. You may have two breeders now, but before long you will have four, then six, then eight, well, you get the picture. Good luck with them.
