...in situ at the top of the curtains. How he gets up there I'd like to know. Was there for two days. Even took a mouse. I had to get him down till he crapped-out, then he was all sulky and pissed. That's a rat snake for ya.

Awesome. Nice looking snake. Yeah, their climbing abilities are amazing. This is a yellow rat that was on the side of my house one morning. On top of a pole that is completely smooth. Wish I could have seen him climbing it. (the pole is away from the wall and the pool hose.)

LOL...yep, you know your snakes...He also fell on my head once while I was sleeping (incredibly clutzy for a rat). Funny thing, I knew what it was instantly and it didn't even phase me...just sort of laughed
