Tonight we are having a topic chat. Not so much a hosted guest chat, but I did want to let you ALL know about this as you are a very diverse and opinionated group.

We will be discussing hybrids, the good the bad and the ugly. Chat may veer off the topic, but if you are interested in coming in and discussing in a polite manner I wanted to let you all know.

*I* will be in the room and in full moderator effect. Please remember the rules and be civil even during disagreement. As you have seen in here I will be fair, but I will abide by the TOS.

Its very true, and while many of you do not make the chats often, I do hope some of you come out this evening. I think it will be interesting to say the least. And Oddly enough I do keep a hybrid.

Well i tried to log in but got this:

"Java is not enabled on your browser."

Now since i don't know what java is and where to get it. It does not look like I will be able to participate.

There should be a link to download java.

Well hell, wish ya woulda emailed.

It was actually completely mellow and civil! I was pleased. John (Jlassiter) came out from this forum and a reasonable discussion ensued for 2 hours on both hybrids and locality! No one was kicked, banned or gagged! I was totally floored. We had one person very pro and John was the major con person. But again I was pleased as I was told this couldnt be done with out a virtual riot!

I will do this again in the future and would love ways to entice my rabblerousers into the chat room..

And for the record you all have gone over 2 months with out a major fight on this forum and for that I love you all.

I never even thought of pulling the transcript, but I will and post it in here. Just not this week. Working extra hours at my part time for a fuel pump for my truck and then off to Reptile Fest for the weekend. I will have it posted here in the kingsnake forum for everyone on monday april 12

I'm seeing this thread after the fact. It LOOKS like you announced the chat the day of... My suggestion would be to give us 3-5 days notice when possible. Thanks!
