"Update" Baby Rhino with red on leg

LoKii Apr 02, 2010 04:49 PM

So my little guy or girl had a really good shed today and I am happy to say that the red on the leg has disappered completely! It must have been some sort of stain from a marker, food or something! Other then that he is doing great! Now I just need a name for the little guy! Here are a few pics of him and the last two are of Frank the Tank my male Cuban Rock. Enjoy

This is what it looked like before shed!

This is what it looks like today after a fresh shed!

and now I present to you....Frank The Tank!

Its still a very orange cyclura..petra was never orange...

I was gonna keep this name for my next Cyclura (like i'm ever going to have time for more lol), Jasper. Its versitile, can go for a male or female...its a rock..and hey, since its orange/"red" its perfect

I enjoy naming them after rocks. (all my greens are named after plants.)

I like the ideal of naming them after rocks, since they are rock iguanas and all! lol! I might have to change Franks name to now? We shall see! My little rhino is pretty orange, I must say. I am curious if he will retain that orange as he grows. Anyone have pics of a mostly orangish rhino as an adult? Jasper is a cute name...I may half to thik about that!

Told you so. I also dig that carpeted toilet seat! Makes a good photo podium.
