Feeding dish question??

evercraig190 Apr 02, 2010 09:18 PM

Just wondering what you guys use to put your dragons greens in? I use a ceramic dish to feed crickets in but i cant figure out what to put the greens in... i need something to be easy to clean, as they keep pooping on whatever i put the greens on...and there are always greens thrown throughout the cage..so something that would contain the greens somewhat would be nice...i know it wont be perfect but just looking for some ideas..thanks in advance...

Either a tupperware bottom (square, the size for a lunch sandwich), its easy to clean, non=poous/smooth plasticware.... May not look as appealing though.

I have found some REALLY NICE... and Classy looking wood-finsihed square bowls at WAL-MART dishware section for $1.50 !!!!

They serve a good purpose if you have a nice tank set=up. Both are super easy to clean, inexpensive to replace, and are easily accessably for your beardie's eating.

P.s. Some of my breeder's wont eat out of anything but the wooden bowls, they love em' sooo much. They better not discontinue them.... lol

I just use a ceramic dish which I bought at the dollar store, two for a buck. It works great for crickets, worms, salads, whatever I need them for. They are also easy to clean and heavy enough they don't tip over. Even young dragons don't have any trouble eating out of it.
