saagbay Apr 03, 2010 07:53 PM

well i made it... i will sum up because i didnt get a chance to make a post before i left, so due to my being laid off of work in december plans to mave back where slightly accelerated. we where going to wait untill august when my fiancee finishes school, but now since im out of work and am not able to find anything we decieded that i should move back now so i can start working and find a place for us to live when she comes up in august....

well anyways i made the drive myself 2100 miles over 3 long days from Albuquerque NM to Spencer MA. the kids traveled with me and made the trip just fine. i took advantage of the stack being taken apart and spen some time re caulking and checking over all the heat tape yadda yadda yadda.... anyways everyone is all set up now and i have begune the unpacking process. tomorrow i wont get much done because i got back just in time for easter brunch at my aunts.

but im here now i made this trip almost with out problems lol i went that whole way only to have a tire blow out on my trailer and get this i was half mile from the MA border lol ohh man that sucked to get so close then have that kinda issue, but i did get it changed out without getting myself killed on the side of the road.....

ps pictures of the new set up (well same setup new location) sometime in the next couple days. glade to be back safe and sound

Wow, sounds like a LOT of work to move yourself and the snakes that far. Congrats on getting everyone there safe and sound.

I remember moving a much smaller reptile collection than I have now a few years ago and that was a headache! And I was only moving a few miles down the road, lol!
