Litter #8 Easter CA Mots

robertmcphee Apr 04, 2010 10:23 PM

I am pretty excited. I found a nice litter when I got home from Easter Dinner. This is the first time I have had two litters in one day! And on Easter!
This is between my CA Motley bred to a big Dark Nicaraguan female. Looks like about 18 or 19 babies no slugs and a decent Motle count.

Then there is this one! It is still alive, but not doing good. When I was moving some of the babies its umbilical cord started to bleed. It did not look like it bled much, but it went down hill pretty fast. Im pretty sure it wasn't going to make it anyhow, but I feel awful.....How could there be an anery in here?? CA Motley Pos het T bred to a Normal Farm Bred Nicaraguan.

Hi Bob, congrats on TWO litters yesterday ... decent size for a CA boa litter as well. Hope the "anery" looking one makes it ... post photos once/ if it sheds.

cheers, John
