Guyanese rainbow boa question's

LINK IS ON THE BOTTOM Hello,
I was wondering about guyana rainbow boa's. First, how is their care compared to brazilian's. Are these the real deal guyana's? Also are GRB very profitable? Thanks for all the help!

Kyle,
....Care of Guyana Rainbow Boas is similar to Brazilian Rainbows. They can probably tolerate greater extremes in temperature than Brazilians. Babies are born smaller and do not grow as rapidly. Adults are much smaller than Brazilians and eat less. The Guyana subspecies has smaller litters and there is less demand for babies so it is tough to make money breeding them. This is a subspecies for people who are truly interested in the snakes rather than making money on them. Those are real Guyanans in the PIC.

Kyle,

I have a pair of GRB's. They stay very small compared to BRB's. I got mine three years ago as wild caught adults. The male is the meanest snake I have ever seen, while the female is probably the sweetest. Mine breed extremely easily, I had my first litter last april of 11 and she is due any day now with litter number two. The babies are small compared to BRB's, and I had a very hard time getting them to start eating. One ate immediatly and of the other 10 I was only able to get 4 others to eat. I have not tried to sell any of them yet, but I know demand is low and I really don't expect to turn a profit. As far as care they tolerate higher temps and lower humidity than a BRB, much like columbian rainbows.

Hope that helps,
-----
