He doesnt seem to be interested in crickets any more just mice and earthworms and superworms. i think hes getting to big for them hes about 25-26 inches long now.

Thats normal, they look at crickets as baby food, mine don't bother with them anymore.

Females have spikes too, so you would have to post a pic. Mine love earthworms and fuzzy mice, along with butterworms and feeder fish.
