Munched!

Well, it finally happened. My Baird's got a little too enthused and thought my hand was lunch when I tried to take out his dirty drinking bowel. He even started to constrict my arm for about 15 seconds then realized his error and backed off. I let him, rather than rip out teeth. Drew a bit of blood, too.
Entirely my fault, I don't think he has turned into a man-eater yet! LOL
Reminds me of my old kingsnake in Florida, he'd try to grab anything that moved. Nipped me once or twice. At least my Western Hognose wasn't allowed that option.

One of my female bairdis will come quick when she thinks it's feeding time.
I have to be careful with her.
Once she realizes there is no food and I touch her. She is fine but definitely a STRONG feeding response..
A lot of snakes are like this but she is the quickest and most "driven"....lol

Yep. Unfortunately, I have been feeding him by hand for a few moths. I should have taken something to clue him that it wasn't feeding time ( just ate the day before, but it was a small mouse!) so I was to blame.
I do love good feeders tho! LOL
