Question for Boas Guys/girls...

BobS Apr 09, 2010 12:24 PM

Hi,

I've been a colubrid guy now for a lot of years but I find myself thinking of possibly getting a Boa again.

Do any of you use the Vision #433 ( 4'x 28"x 28" ) to display your Boas? (I know racks are easier, and I use them for my Colubrids as well as cages)

If you do, How do you like them?

Could you possibly post some pics?

Does the lighting option in that cage show off your animal to your liking?

Thanks from a colubrid guy on another Forum

Bob S.

I haven't tried the cage you are asking about. I have been using Boaphile 4' X 2' X 1' cages - mainly so I can get the more cages in the same space. I've thought about trying Vision cages but haven't yet.

Is the snake in your pic a black mexican King or a pine?

Thanks,

It's a Black Milk snake. Lampropeltis Gaigeae. They start life as a tri-color and gradually darken to all Black on ones with good dark parents. Very mellow and not skittish like many Milk snakes as adults.
