Western Hognose Patterns

SandBoaMorphs Apr 10, 2010 06:25 AM

I have owned Hognoses for a total of 4 days...My wife, Jenn, was taking pictures last night and I noticed this guys pattern is different then all the rest.

5 of them I purchased have spots from their head down about 1/4 of their body and then have stripes that run across their bodies to their tail.

This guy has spots that run from his head almost all the way down to his tail and then has the stripes. It may just be a normal occurence. I have no idea. Feedback on hognose patterns would be great.

Thanks, Mark

So, what I have gathered is that this pattern is fairly common in the hognose world. Since the post I've spent a lot of time looking at anacondas and super anacondas and definitely see the desired pattern reduction.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
