thermal burn

Jonathanpg Apr 12, 2010 12:42 AM

ok so i think my ball python has a loong thermal burn on the underside of his belly BUT im not too sure if it is because i have other ball that are on the same temp tape that he is on, so far i have been using betadine solution on his belly followed by some triple ointment and i switched his bedding to paper? temp is around 84-86 during the night and 90-92 during the day, help me out if i might be doing something wrong here, the scales seem to be scabbing up now and i hope they will just fall off hopefully sooner than later or he might just shed and it will all come off, thanks again for all your info.

Did you take him off the tape and put him with another heat source? Or is he still able to get on the tape and burn himself further?
