By supplement, do you mean food? Sorry if I am unfamiliar with turtle supplements, but I do know that reptomin is the BEST food for turtles. Many people agree.
what i meant was what is the best powder-type sprinkle on food xtra vitamins and minerals supplement. my turtle is very finicky and i want to make sure he gets all the right vitamins that he doesnt get from his normal diet
sorry, cant help yah.....anyone else?
I just use a variety of vitamins just as I use a variety of foods. I use pure calcium btw instead of the calcium plus D3 since I have good lights and natural sunlight in the summer. Batagur what turtle is the picky eater?
he is a rhinoclemmys punctularia. he has a good appetite, but he only accepts meat (ie.cooked chicken, crabmeat) and sweet fruits (ie.grapes blueberries banana) he refuses almost anything green, and i know that leafy greens are a staple in an omnivorous turtle's diet.i've tried weening him onto veggies and other proper dietary items but he still wont eat them. i dont want him to get any kind of deficiency, so im looking into a multivitamin supplement with vitamins a,e,d3,c,k etc. to make up for the vitamins he doesnt get from eating just meat and fruit. thank you so much for helping.
