Last Summer my mother had a Black Rat Snake living in her backyard. She wanted me to come and get rid of it. I tried to explain to her that it was harmless and it is actually a good snake to have around. She does not like snakes and it had to go! Anyone I got one of those "Snake Guard" traps with the intention of trapping it and releasing it somewhere else. Anyone when I went back the next day to check the trap, there was snake skin on the inside but NO SNAKE!. The rascal slithered into the trap, shed it's skin and slithered back out as if to say "you gotta be kidding me". The whole family still laughs about it, and even my mother, the staunch snake hater that she is thought it was "cute".
