Try the Seed Forum.
OK, for real this time, those frog, anoles and gecko folks know alot about plants in vivariums. Try those forums.

I hope so, I have my aquarium light over my seed starters and they seem to be doing all right.

I don't see any issue from using UVB lights for growing plants...just a very expensive way to start plants indoors. Pretty sure most grow lights used to start and grow plants indoors put out very little UVB light and are far cheaper than a typical UVB bulb for reptiles.
I wouldn't recommend buying reptile lights just to grow plants...you can buy full spectrum plant 'grow lights' for about the 5th or less of the cost of even a low UVB reptile bulb (ie a 2.0).

Florecent lights grow better I've tried it with 10.0 to 2.0 waste of money IMO
