Many of you may have heard/read part of this story before - at least the first part but be sure to read the later parts...
Funny as I think back on it, Savannah is an animal I "rescued" at a show in Petaluma back around 2003 or 2004. Was sold to me by a lady who had a pet store and asked if I'd be interested in a female BRB. I said maybe and she brought in the=is kinda sad looking BRB. Al crusty from dehydration, bad sheds and retained eyecaps. BUT, under all that was a hint of really nice color. Looking back, little did I know!!

In 2005 I bred her to Porky, a nice broken pattern orange male and produced a litter with many very nice babies. So nice in fact I kept 1.2 of them, Phoenix, Amber and Wendy. Then in 2007 Savannah was bred to Nathan, another nice red animal and I kept 1.0 Moon. In 2008 she went with my Calico project and produced babies from Fluffy. For her latest litter in 2009 she was paired back to her offspring Phoenix. In each and every litter there have been stunning babies, many stunning babies. In har latest litter there were amazing babies.
Also, Wendy has produced a litter with amazing looking babies. All of this seeming to come from a single source... Savannah
Savannah...

Amber (SA-PO-0501)...

Wendy (SA-PO-0502)...

Phoenix (SA-PO-0506)...

Moon (SA-NA-0714)... (sorry, old pic, guess I've missed getting newer pics of him)

Belle (SA-FL-0806 - Fluffy offspring)...

Marcie (SA-FL-0811 - Fluffy offspring)... (also an old pic)

Snoopy (SA-FL-0808 - Fluffy offspring)... (well it's clear to me I need to update the Calico project pics)...

Spike (SA-FL-0809 - Fluffy Offspring)...

Elvis (SA-PH-0903)...

Erin (SA-PH-0905)...

Presley (SA-PH-0902)...

Male to be named (WE-RO-0901)...

Female to be named (WE-RO-0911)...

Phew, those are some smoking hot BRB's. I'm seriously considering naming the whole group the "Savannah line" after the Matriarch.
Thoughts???
