Thechondro Apr 16, 2010 12:48 AM

Its ok to put a heat pad on a rubbermaid container right? I have a thermostat on it but I just wanna make sure this is kosher. Dont wanna have a fire. Thanks in advance. If anyone replies.

There should be no problem. I suggest monitoring the heat pad for
48 hours using a temp gun to shoot what temps the pad is at during
different times throughout the day and night for couple a days

Some heat pads are extremely constant with great constant temps ,
others not so much

Also most human heat pads have 2 hour Auto shut off now a days

You'll want one that doesn't have that inconvenient feature
