market prices

Shadow4108 Apr 19, 2010 08:46 AM

I know that prices can vary greatly from breeder to breeder, but is there a list anywhere that would give you the average market price for all the morphs out there? I want to look at my options as far as building my breeding stock again. I know I want another spider but not sure what else. If you have one or wouldnt mind making one up for me you can e-mail it to me.
Thanks

Your best bet would be to cruise the classifieds on Kingsnake and FaunaClassifieds. Then you can make up a price list of the morphs you are interested in at the quality level you are interested in. Best you figure out what you want first.

Especially since morph prices can vary so widely according to breeder and quality type. A female Pastel can go for as little at $100 and as much as $400, depending on what you are looking for in an individual.

Forget about price lists, prices vary on lows and highs as much as 40%, just find the very best representation of the morph you like at the budget you are willing to dish out!

I like a particular animal that meets my criteria, I buy it regardless if above or below market price.

Just remember that quality speaks volume!

40%...actually more like 200%......depends how much you buy also...where you buy ....and what you buy....time of year and how slow the show is that week....etc etc...

as mentioned....see what you want and cruise the classifieds...I cruise alot of them all the time...more than once a week....

The reason i'm asking is because I know that I want a male spider and I'm guessing around 100-150? am i off on this one? And I'm guessing the next step up on that is the pastel at around the same price. What would be the next step up price wise you think?

a male pastel is abouy 90-125 bucks depending on color and quality, male spiders around 200. for 5-600 you get a male bumblebee, which is the better route to get what you want.

It's getting to the point where it's pretty useless to buy single co-doms.
Why pay $350 for a spider, when for $300 more you can find a male bumblebee...giving you spider and pastel genes.
I was quite irritated when I saw I could get a super pastel for $50 more than I paid for my pastel 3 years ago.
