came home from the nebraska reptile expo in omaha to these

20 nice eggs from my miami

and today found my blood female laying

and an OT pic of my show pick up sadly cant get the color right

yes, i got them from Reptiles Etcetra
they are doing great currently building them a micro jungel terrium.

Cool! I was thinking about getting a pair for a little terrerium I have. How much were they, if you don't mind me asking?

i payed about $75 for the pair along with a few things to finish a terrerium im working on.

a note...my opinion....

I am trying peat this year...first time...I have to make it really damp/wet.....I mix it with moss or cover it with a layer of moss......I figure the snakes will be able to just pack the peat and stay under the sheet of moss to lay....some have alot of peat and are totally buried....a first for here....wierd....

...what I have NEVER done is let a female snake lay IN the vermiculite...I use vermic for incubation...but not laying....I hate to see the vermic packed in the snakes eyes and nostrils and all....gross.....alot of people agree with me...and I see alot of people using it for laying.....

just my opinion.....Thanxx......
