MANDARIN PASTEL

perfectpredators Apr 25, 2010 12:02 PM

Let me first say that I have long spurts where I dont visit this forum because I work long hours, have 2 boys a 2 year old and 1 year old, and many boas to keep clean and feed. Lately Ive been visiting often to see all the beautiful 2010 babies and new morphs popping up. I noticed (but I could be wrong) I haven't seen any and I can't remember more than 1 or 2 posts on the MANDARIN PASTEL color morph. Wanted to do one myself on these boas because they just excite me like few I have in my collection. I love their ground color, head pattern, tail, and I admire them because of how beautifully clean they are for a non-hypo. I took 2 quick Pics this morning and I hope you agree:

very nice! do you know if 2 have ever been bred together??? they almost have that look where there just may be a super version! never know anymore! nice looking animal either way regards

Not too much is known yet..This morph is in it's infancy, I just had to jump into it even though there are many unknowns. word is, from the few known breedings to date, that it's co-dom and there's a super version that is much like what a super hypo looks like side by side to a hypo. The animal in the picture is a non-super. If you like it to where you consider it the super version, you will definitely be very impressed with the super. I think that this animal can be plugged into most any project for and added blast like to T- projects both Kahl and sharps, as well as all the lines of T , and pattern morphs like jungles, motleys, azteks, and on and on....

Dennis I picked these up because you turned me on to them and I dont regret for a second. thanks for that! and man these animals have nothing to envy of the high demand color morphs out there.

Rich in color,Junglish, I like it. I am not familiar with the mandarin label though, could you explain it to me?

They are beautiful and the color reminds me somewhat of the
European lines of Pastels like the Kubsch and SQT's

Love the color and do you plan to incorporate the albino gene to make colorful sunglows? Or ???

I'm still not certain what will be their project, im thinking to each other to see the super morph also to lets say T BW, or VPI. I may do a flip of the coin, what I know is that I want to see what they do to a project that has a lot of selective breeding still in its future to really get it to the level of the projects that have been around and to that caliber. Got a lot of thinkin' to do before next fall for sure. I will definitely want to see a Sharp or Kahl Mandarin.
