GRAND CAYMAN IGUANA HYBRID PAIRING

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Apr 25, 2010 01:52 PM

This year I'm planning on producing neonate hybrids from this pair of OUTSTANDING lewisi hybrids. The male is now beginning to shed and his true colors are beginning to show. His blue is as intense as I've seen on very good PURE lewisi and the female is quite nice in her own right. I've heard others here complain that only the males are ever depicted so I figured I'd break the cycle and show the pair. Here they are and I have high hopes on this pairing. Even though I don't believe they are pure [female isn't for sure] there pretty darn good...Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoy the lizards....

Is your name Mark Malfala by chance? I bought a great looking lewisi hybrid from a guy off craigslist. He said he had lost the breeder info, but it was purchased from a breeder in California that had High quality specimens. He did say it was not David Blair. I am having a hard time tracking down breeders in California, but through my research, the name Mark Malfala came up. Now I found this thread, and your screen name-Mark M makes me believe this may be you. If it is I'd love to chat with you and send you some pics to see if maybe he is from you, or maybe you can steer me in the right direction. Thanks so much,

Jake

Ty that's a very nice female. You should bring that to me to breed with the male I have. By the middle of summer he should have shed off all the caked dirt and I'll post more pics as he does as he is truly the closest one I've had to a pure one since I had the real deal. I've been extremely critical of him looking for discrepancys and I'm still happy with him and becoming more pleased as his head is finally beginning to shed....thanks
