Bob,
E-mail sent, Sir!
Thanks for your reply.

Dan,
Sounds great! Congrats on the successful breeding this year already. Looking forward to seeing photos post hatching. How much longer do they need to "cook" for?
Thanks for your reply, too!

Thanks again to both of you,

They should be hatching late June or early July. This is the third year that I have bred them. I have eight from my 2007 eggs and lost all eight eggs last year (2009)due to moving. Hopefully I should be getting some more eggs from my other female...and she normally does about three or four eggs.

Hey Dan,
That sounds great. Good luck with them. May I ask why you did not breed them in 2008? A year off maybe??
Looking forward to seeing photos when they emerge!
Cheers,

My one female just went into pre-lay shed. She gives me 3 every year.

Boneyard,
Thanks for posting that image. Hopefully three more (at least) for you this year!!
Also, I visited your site. Very nice. Those brooksi that you breed look to be stunners.
Back to ruthveni.......what lineage are yours?
Thanks again,

(WC Monlezun X Vandeventer) Male X (WC Monlezun X [WC Monlezun X (WC Red Phase X Memphis Zoo)] Female.

I also have a pair of 07's from the pairing above that should go this year as well.

Hoping to produce more of these!!!

Oh that's right, I forgot it is you who has that outstanding "Aztec-patterned" specimen. I dunno, the Aztec pattern is the first thing I thought of when I saw that pattern, LOL!!
I bet you have a laundry list of people waiting for more of those! Being able to reproduce that might as well be one of the hottest things to happen in the world of designer pine snakes in quite a while....or at least with regards to ruthveni.
