Genetics questions

LucaDG Apr 26, 2010 05:38 AM

I would like to know the genetics involved into breeding a
Pastel YelloBelly to a Pastel Specter.
WHat would I get and what percentages?
I may be wrong but this is what I think:

Pastel
Super Pastel
Pastel yb
Super Pastel yb
Specter
Pastel specter
Super pastel specter
Super stripe
Pastel SS
SUper pastel SS ?
Normal

Thanks a lot
Luca

On the pastel side your break down would be 1/4 normal, 2/4 pastel, 1/4 super pastel.

On the superstripe side your breakdown would be 1/4 normal, 1/4 specter, 1/4 yellow belly, and 1/4 super stripe.

So overlaying the two you would have:

1/16 normal
1/16 specter
1/16 yellow belly
1/16 super stripe
2/16 pastel
2/16 pastel specter
2/16 pastel yellow belly
2/16 pastel super stripe
1/16 super pastel
1/16 super pastel specter
1/16 super pastel yellow belly
1/16 super pastel super stripe

All the 2/16 could of course be reduced to 1/8.
