anyone use the exo-terra reptile den?? opinions?

alieliza Sep 21, 2003 11:54 PM

I was thinking about getting an exo-terra reptile den.... the tunneled den that has the magnetic system. It seems like an investment though, considering itll run me a good 25 dollars for a hide spot.... but maybe it seems like its worth it.... stays cool, allows you to view without disturbing, etc.
any opinions appreciated.
thanks

I have seen those in the stores and they looked pretty cool. I just can't see paying 25 bucks for a hide. lol. Ok, ok I would have a few years ago, when I only had a couple of geckos. If you have the cash, give it a whirl and let us know how they work. They have only been on the market for a few months.

i saw them also and they look cool but i found my own hide. I put a fake rock in my tank with my fat tails. My big male knocked it over and climbed up inside the thing. The fake rock apparentl was hallow inside and he likes to hide up inside of it now. All of the crickets like to go up there too so he now only comes out to drink and poop lol. Talk about dinner in bed

i think one of the best things about them is the fact that you can view them without having to even go in the tank. just slide the rock peice on the outside of the tank and you can see inside..
im thinking of getting one. i own one reptile and figure i can spoil him for the time being.

My AFT lives in a Castle - his name is Bark because he looks like a puppy.
