mykee NOT MyKee............

mykee Sep 21, 2003 11:59 PM

Well, let me tell you that I've had some troubles with mistaken identity regarding a 'new' member; MyKee. It seems this person, for some reason, has chosen a handle very similar to mine. The problem is that a few people have already confronted me for saying something either offensive or just plain stupid, only to find out that it was not me, (mykee) but MyKee. Don't get me wrong, I will take full responsibility for saying something stupid or offensive (well, sort of...), but I will not take responsibilty for someone else saying something stupid or offensive. Please keep this in mind in the future. Thanks, mykee. (notice that I am CAPS-FREE.)

Sorry MyKee or mykee or myKEE but I don't believe that these forums are case sensitive. Try another one.

The forums are not case sensitive, but they are space and character sensitive ('jeffb' is very different from 'jeff b' for a space sensitive example).

During the unfolding of the event, if someone took the time to really look at what was there (which some folks did do rather than merely reacting to the content of the posts) they would have seen that there were actually THREE mykee's on the forum. The original mykee and another person that was using two similar usernames interchangeably -- mykee. & mykee: (note the period and the colon in those names).
