They are Colombian Rainbow Boas. Named after the country rather than the explorer. Though the country was named after the explorer. Why is life so darned complicated? Don't worry about it too much. In latin America lots of geographic location signs have multiple spellings. Just call them maurus and everyone on this forum knows what they are and you do not have to remember which way to spell Colombian.
Yeah, I should have just quite while I was ahead. That's what I get for second guessing......
