Headed to Iraq and need a babysitter!

geotrek Apr 27, 2010 08:13 PM

Please don't hit me with any negativity here, but the situation is this: I adopted a Ball Python from the Humane Society about four months ago and now I am getting sent to Iraq for a year. The little dude is about 3 yo as far as the info I could get and a great feeder. Anyone been in a similar situation? Any suggestions would be great. I live in Nebraska about 30 miles from Omaha and 40 from Lincoln. I don't want to get rid of him but don't have anyone I know that is willing to take this on. Most of them give the standard line.....ewwwww a snake?!

I live in Lincoln, NE. I could talk to the Husband, but I am pretty sure we'd be happy to watch him for you. Would he come with all his amenities (cage, heat, water bowl, etc)? Or would we need to provide these (not a problem)?

PM me if you would like.

I live about an hour from Lincoln but would be more then happy to babysit your little guy while you are gone.
I was also in the military (Navy) so I know how hard it is to leave.
Good luck and thanks for serving (even though it's not that wonderful at times.)

I think I might have a fix for the situation, but I will let you know if it doesn't work out. Thanks for your service!!!
