It's hard to say whether he will be alright or not. It depends on how serious the injury is. My advise is, don't probe any more snakes.

ive never had blood or tissue come out after probing. i cant be good but may not be that bad. maybe some one with more exp. can chime in.
i think you should keep an eye on it though....

Any time you probe use ky or some form of lube.It sounds as though you used a dry probe.Put some neosporin on the vent just to be on the safe side.Good luck .Terry

Congrats, you just MADE a boy! Seriously though, if your probe tip is a ball or blunt and you use lube, there's no reason there should be tissue or blood!

I. did use lube and the tip is a ball....did i use to small of a tip? I didnt not push hard and the tissue was more stuck on the probe but went back in....just hope it dose'nt get infected and he can still breed when old enough..

Was the tissue attached? If so, was it the hemipene itself?

Lube and ball tips can lead to suction and an inverted specimen "not good" even though he might like it lol. This is hear say, but good knowledge..according to me
