Unless I saw a real problem I wouldn't worm my Cyclura or Green Iguanas for that matter. There is STRONG evidence that shows that SOME parasities are in fact important in helping break down the rough vegetable matter they eat enabling them to retreive more nutrients. I was lucky enough to be at an IHS meeting I believe in Knoxvile, TN or Monroe, LA in the 1970's when Dagmer Werner, a German Researcher, had found that baby Iguana iguana eat the fecal pellets of adult lizards. After controlled experiments she found that neonate Green Iguanas that were infected with adut lizards parasites and other fauna and flora grew at twice the rate of neonates that were CLEAN and not allowed to consume the fecal matter. I'm NOT aware of your circumstance just making you aware of this little known fact. I expose all my baby's to my adult's pathogens and get very successful results. If you search on line you can peruse her paper and many others on this subject matter. To answer your question Panacur is usually very safe for any herps including lizards. Keep in mind there are flat worms and round worms so to deparasitize totaly would take both Panacur and droncet. Flagyl is the drug of choice for Protozoan problems that the former drugs won't touch. Ivermectin is LETHAL and will kill lizards rather quickly so STAY AWAY from that one. My Vet on staff many years ago killed about 24 imported rare Varanids by giving then Ivermectin....thanks
